Role: Sr DevOps Engineer (13569)

Location: Irving, TX

Duration: Contract


About This Opportunity:

As a senior devOps engineer, you will join a multidisciplinary team of product managers, designers, and engineers creating digital products used by hundreds of thousands of people every day. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, security, containers, and production reliability.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and backend applications across AWS, GCP, and Azure multi-cloud environments as part of the Digital DevSecOps team.
  • Automate and streamline operations and processes for faster, secure deployments.
  • Work with DevOps Engineers and provide technical assistance when needed.
  • Manage and build CI/CD tools and pipelines and collaborate with Development, QA, and other teams.
  • Work closely with other DevOps engineers to lead initiatives supporting the DevOps roadmap.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture.
  • Build and maintain tools for deployments, security patching, vulnerability management, and change safety.
  • Install, configure, and maintain DevOps tools and technologies such as GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI, JFrog Artifactory, and other AWS native services.
  • Work with container and Kubernetes platforms.
  • Perform end-to-end system verification and configuration management.
  • Support Linux infrastructure and SQL/NoSQL database configuration and management.
  • Work closely with the infrastructure team to support automation for production issues and leverage scalability with DevOps practices.
  • Experience with RCAs, monitoring, and alerting in all environments; familiarity with Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, Splunk, and ELK stack.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization to establish SLOs and help teams consistently achieve those SLOs.

Educational & Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • AWS (Amazon Web Services), GCP, or Azure certification is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud computing and design.
  • 7+ years of experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, CI/CD solutions, containers, DevOps principles, automation, and configuration-management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
  • Must have AWS experience, including Lambda functions, EKS, ECS, Fargate, and other AWS services.
  • Must have knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Must have good knowledge of building scalable infrastructure in the cloud.
  • Must have good knowledge of database management.
  • Hands-on development experience using Python, Node.js, or Java.
  • Good knowledge of Git repositories and versioning strategies.
  • Thorough understanding of system administration.
  • Experience with Linux is required.
  • Ability to work in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
  • Well organized with a bias for action and minimal direction
  • A team player with a start-up/entrepreneur mindset.
  • Ravenous about learning technology and problem solving.
  • Effective communication skills.
