Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ETL & Dashboard Developer to design, develop, and maintain data dashboards and ETL processes using Qlik Sense, SQL Server, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory. The role involves working with public health disease surveillance data, performing requirements analysis, and generating ad-hoc reports.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Dashboard Development: Design and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards, data visualizations, trends, graphs, and interactive reporting features.
  • ETL & Data Integration: Develop SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Data Factory packages for Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Create ad-hoc reports, OLAP database queries, and decision-support systems (DSS).
  • Documentation & Support: Maintain system documentation, functional specs, and user requirement documents.
  • Collaboration & Training: Work with cross-functional teams to standardize data collection and provide training on Qlik Sense tools.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in ETL development using Microsoft Visual Studio BI tools or Azure Data Factory.
  • 5+ years of experience in dashboard development using Qlik View/Qlik Sense.
  • 2+ years of experience with public health disease surveillance data dashboards.
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL databases, DSS, and relational/OLAP queries.
  • 5+ years of experience in system support, maintenance, and release management.
  • 5+ years of experience with source control systems (Azure DevOps, TFS, or VSTS).
  • Strong expertise in object-oriented analysis and design.
