Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About your role:

As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you will build, automate, and support the cloud platform capabilities that enable secure, resilient, and scalable technology delivery. You will work closely with software engineering, site reliability, security, and infrastructure teams to improve platform performance and operational maturity. Your work helps teams deliver reliable services that support critical business and client outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure, platform services, and continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to support application deployment and platform reliability
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows using infrastructure as code and scripting tools
  • Monitor platform health, availability, capacity, and performance, and implement improvements to increase reliability, scalability, and recovery readiness
  • Partner with software engineering, information security, and operations teams to integrate security, compliance, and operational standards into platform design and deployment processes
  • Troubleshoot complex platform, networking, and deployment issues across development, test, and production environments, and lead root cause analysis for recurring incidents
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and support incident response, service restoration, and post-incident improvements during non-standard hours as needed
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and platform standards to support consistent service delivery and knowledge sharing

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, site reliability engineering, or platform engineering roles supporting enterprise applications and production environments
  • 6+ years of experience using cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud environments
  • 6+ years of experience deploying and managing containerized applications with Kubernetes and Helm, including configuration, releases, upgrades, and troubleshooting across cloud environments
  • 6+ years of experience with infrastructure as code, configuration management, and automation tools such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, or similar technologies
  • 6+ years of experience with Linux administration, containerization, orchestration, networking, and system troubleshooting in distributed environments
  • Experience with scripting or programming using Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages to automate operational tasks and platform services
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to support service availability and incident response
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience with Argo CD and Argo Workflows for GitOps-based deployments and Kubernetes-native workflow automation.
  • Experience with security tooling, vulnerability remediation, and policy enforcement in cloud environments
  • Experience supporting regulated environments with defined change management, audit, and compliance requirements
  • Cloud platform or DevOps certifications, or equivalent validated technical training

How you'll work:

  • This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis.

You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.
