Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Release Management, and a deep understanding of DevSecOps practices. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable infrastructure solutions, as well as managing the release process to ensure smooth and efficient deployments. You will work closely with Development and Infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the release process, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating releases to ensure smooth and efficient deployments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Collaborate with development and operations to integrate security best practices into the DevOps pipelines.
  • Automate and streamline deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Conduct security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in the infrastructure and applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevSecOps, IaC, and Release Management.

Education / Qualifications
  • 7+ years experience or 5+ years with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior level DevSecOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with release management and deployment automation.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Understanding of security best practices and experience with security tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
