The Oracle DBA will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability. They will work closely with the IT team to optimize database configurations and provide support for various database-related tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform Oracle database administration tasks such as installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance through tuning and query optimization techniques.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures to protect data from unauthorized access.
  • Manage backup and recovery processes using tools like RMAN and Data Guard.
  • Develop and maintain SQL and PLSQL scripts for database operations and automation.
  • Utilize shell and Python scripting for automation and integration tasks.
  • Work with cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, or Azure for database deployments and migrations.
  • Utilize monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
