Position Description:

The Team Lead will provide overall supervision for vendor employees to include, but not limited to, planning, and managing the project professionally, ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources; ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided. This position has the authority to resolve problems, allocate resources, manage personnel, and monitor operation performance taking direction from the government to ensure complete satisfaction. Works under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion. Develops required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems. Coordinates with the Vendor PM, TPOCs, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.


Minimum Experience:

• Seven (7) years relevant experience

• Must have working knowledge and understanding of CheckPoint firewalls to include versions R81 and R82 and industry standard network environments to include firewall and security hardware/software.

• Must have knowledge and understanding of Information Assurance Best Practices.

• Must have in depth knowledge of LAN and WAN operations, understanding of how to use Incident Ticket Tracking systems for inputting incident tickets and creating work orders along with a comprehensive knowledge of DOD and DLA security regulations, guidelines, and policies to include, but not limited to, IA standards.

• Must have hands-on experience with the installation, configuration, and day-to-day sustainment of network equipment, to include but not limited to firewalls, proxy servers, cloud services and other network appliances.


Minimum Requirements:

• The candidate must possess a High Risk (Confidential, Critical Sensitive IT1) with a Tier 5 investigation. (SECRET Clearance).

• Category IAT Level II certification: Security+ CE or higher.

• Computing Environment; must possess two (2) certificates, one is each category:

Category One (one of the following):

  • Checkpoint Certified Security Expert (CCSE) or Checkpoint Certified Security Master (CCSM) certification

Category Two-Cloud Cert (one of the following):

  • AWS CSA Associate AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate
  • AWS CS Specialty AWS Certified Security-Specialty
  • MC: Azure SEA Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • MC: Azure SAE Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • MC Azure Admin Associate Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate
  • OCI Cloud Ops Pro 2024 Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2024 Cloud Operations Professional
