Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking an Azure Data Platform Engineer/Admin to design, deploy, and support Azure infrastructure. The role involves building automation, managing cloud resources, and collaborating with various teams to ensure optimal performance and security.
Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and support Azure infrastructure including VMs, networking, storage, and platform services.
• Build automation and Infrastructure‐as‐Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
• Provision, configure, monitor, and maintain Azure resources for performance, availability, and security.
• Support application and platform teams by provisioning cloud environments and implementing cloud‐ready architectures.
• Implement identity and access management (IAM), network security (NSGs, Firewalls), and data protection.
• Work with developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Manage identity, access, and security configurations using Azure AD/Entra ID, Key Vault, NSGs, firewalls, and policies.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and drive incident resolution and root‐cause analysis.
• Contribute to cost optimization, governance, and operational standards across the Azure environment.
• Integrate Git with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Repos, GitHub, or other Git‐based platforms.
• Troubleshoot Git issues, resolve merge conflicts, and maintain clean repository structures.
• Document solutions, configurations, and architectural decisions.
