Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure AI & Cloud Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, security, and operational management of Microsoft Azure-based AI and cloud solutions. This role will be responsible for deploying and securing AI-driven technologies, implementing Azure AI Foundry solutions, managing cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and ensuring adherence to security best practices across the Azure ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands‑on experience with Azure architecture, DevOps automation, cloud security, Microsoft Copilot, and AI technologies while maintaining a security‑first mindset throughout all phases of deployment and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and deployment of Azure AI Foundry solutions and AI‑enabled workloads.
  • Design, build, and maintain secure Azure cloud environments aligned with enterprise security standards and best practices.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate Azure resource provisioning and configuration.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related automation tools.
  • Configure, monitor, and optimize Azure monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, networking, storage, identity services, and compute resources with a focus on security and governance.
  • Implement cloud security controls including identity management, privileged access, network security, encryption, compliance monitoring, and threat protection.
  • Support Microsoft Copilot deployments including architecture, implementation, governance, adoption, and security controls.
  • Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams to establish AI governance frameworks and responsible AI practices.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and provide recommendations on secure adoption strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure, security, and deployment‑related issues.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and security standards.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
  • Hands‑on experience implementing Azure AI Foundry solutions.
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline design, and automation.
  • Advanced experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of Azure architecture, networking, identity, storage, and compute services.
  • Experience configuring Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, alerts, and observability platforms.
  • Experience creating, managing, and securing Azure resources in enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, governance frameworks, and security best practices.
  • Experience implementing and governing Microsoft Copilot solutions.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies, including AI security considerations.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, or AI Engineer).
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Experience implementing Zero Trust security architectures.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, or similar standards.
  • Experience supporting enterprise AI governance and risk management initiatives.
