Job Title: Cloud Database Administrator Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required Citizenship: U.S. Citizen Required Rate $80/hr on W2 Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Cloud Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize cloud-based databases in secure federal environments. The ideal candidate should have experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP databases, database performance tuning, security, automation, backup/recovery, and cloud migrations. Required Skills 5+ years of Cloud Database Administration experience. Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle Cloud. Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB. Experience with database backup, recovery, replication, and performance tuning. Knowledge of scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK, or Grafana. Strong understanding of database security, encryption, IAM, and compliance. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Skills Experience with Kubernetes or containerized database services. Experience with Azure Government or Azure Secret environments. Knowledge of data migration tools and cloud-native architectures. Federal government project experience.
