Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our Cloud, DevOps, and Operations organization. This role is responsible for designing, building, automating, and supporting modern cloud-based infrastructure and applications that power critical business services.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering skills with expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, CI/CD practices, and platform operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence while driving automation-first solutions across the technology stack.

Candidates should possess strong development experience, hands-on cloud expertise, and a passion for building resilient, highly automated environments.

Primary Functions & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions, cloud infrastructure, and automation capabilities that support business and technology objectives.
  • Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery and improve deployment reliability.
  • Support enterprise platforms and applications through advanced Level 3 production support and incident resolution.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform health and operational stability.
  • Partner with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Contribute to system architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
  • Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and platform resiliency initiatives.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to improve engineering capabilities.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working within a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting distributed applications and services.
  • Experience working within Agile and DevOps-focused delivery organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience across the software development lifecycle, from design through production support.
  • Full-stack development experience is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in two or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with source control platforms including GitHub and/or GitLab.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tooling.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment.
  • Experience using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating environments.
  • Experience working with Jira or other Agile project management and issue-tracking platforms.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.

$200,000 - $225,000
