We are seeking a SME-Level Cloud Developer to support a mission-critical federal program focused on secure cloud infrastructure, application modernization, and national security initiatives.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role centered on building, automating, and maintaining AWS-based environments in secure, large-scale systems. Your work will directly support operational readiness, secure system delivery, and enterprise cloud transformation.
You will serve as a technical leader, driving infrastructure as code, automation, containerization, and cloud platform reliability within a highly collaborative, mission-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure across enterprise environments
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Packer
Support patching, system hardening, and infrastructure lifecycle management
Configure and manage AWS services including ALBs, encryption mechanisms, and identity/access controls
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for automated deployment and delivery
Develop and support containerized applications using Docker and/or Podman
Support Kubernetes orchestration for containerized workloads
Deploy and maintain monitoring and logging solutions including Grafana and Kafka
Configure and manage Splunk indexing and log ingestion pipelines
Develop automation solutions using Ansible Automation Platform
Implement serverless and event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda and SNS
Monitor system performance and availability using CloudWatch and related tools
Support secure data handling, auditing, and compliance requirements within cleared environments Required Qualifications Active Top Secret clearance
Strong experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud services
Hands-on experience with: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Packer)
CI/CD tools (GitLab)
Containerization (Docker, Podman)
Kubernetes orchestration Experience with AWS services including: S3, IAM, Route 53, EventBridge
