POSITION OVERVIEW
As the AWS Infrastructure Manager, you will oversee the design, deployment, and management of our AWS cloud infrastructure that supports our luxury automotive sales platform. Your leadership will ensure high availability, robust security, and exceptional performance, enabling a flawless and secure experience for our high-end clientele. You will manage a team of cloud engineers and work closely with product, security, and development teams to maintain our platform's scalability and reliability.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the architecture, implementation, and ongoing management of AWS infrastructure to support high-traffic luxury automotive sales operations.
  • Define and enforce best practices tailored for a premium, data-sensitive environment emphasizing security and compliance.
  • Oversee identity and access management (IAM), encryption standards, and adherence to privacy regulations critical for handling luxury customer data.
  • Manage infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and security proactively to ensure uninterrupted service for a luxury clientele.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline application deployment, integrating with customer-facing and backend systems.
  • Optimize cloud costs while maintaining top-tier performance and scalability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cloud infrastructure engineers with a focus on excellence and innovation.
  • Stay abreast of AWS service enhancements and emerging cloud technologies to continually elevate our platform's capabilities.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven leadership experience managing AWS infrastructure, preferably in high-availability, customer-facing platforms.
  • Deep expertise with AWS core services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudWatch, Kubernetes and IAM.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance with standards relevant to luxury consumer data (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
  • Proficient in monitoring and logging tools.
  • Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or equivalent for automation.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and cloud architecture.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration technologies such as EKS or Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills suited for a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
  • Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional) strongly preferred.
