Job description

Job Summary:
MDAEdge is a company specializing in database management solutions, and they are seeking a PostgreSQL Database Administrator. The role involves managing AWS RDS databases, ensuring high availability, and performing capacity planning and performance assessments.
Responsibilities:
• AWS RDS hands-on experience.
• Capacity planning, performance assessment of AWS RDS.
• Strong Postgres/SQL Server DB administration experience in production environments.
• Configuration and support of complex RDS Databases in AWS environment, Configuring and managing high availability, resiliency solutions leveraging Aurora.
• Read replicas & Global Database.
• Experience in managing multiple RDS, database versions on large systems.
• Practical experience in monitoring.
• Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices.
• Sitting for extended periods of time.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse.
• Physically able to participate and lead training sessions, presentations and/or meetings.
• Reasoning and analyzing complex information.
• Regularly required to talk and hear.
• Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
