Description

Position Summary:


The Project Manager owns delivery of one or more program workstreams in Phase 2. You will manage schedule, budget, staffing, and risk for your workstream, coordinate multiple Agile teams, and report delivery performance to the Program Manager and client stakeholders. You will use AI-assisted planning and reporting tools as a standard part of how the program runs.


Key Responsibilities:


- Plan and manage workstream scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and deliverables

- Coordinate the work of multiple Agile teams, including sprint/PI alignment and release planning

- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and cross-team dependencies

- Produce status reports, metrics, and forecasts for the Program Manager and client stakeholders, leveraging AI-assisted reporting

- Manage onboarding, badging, and resource assignments for workstream staff

- Ensure deliverables meet federal quality, security, and compliance standards

- Coordinate UAT, release readiness, and deployment activities with client counterparts

- Support contract deliverable preparation and acceptance

Requirements

Non-Technical Requirements:


- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

- Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (4 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.

- Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance

- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Must be able to prioritize and self-start.

- Must be adaptable/flexible as priorities shift.

- Must be enthusiastic and have passion for learning and constant improvement.

- Must be open to collaboration, feedback and client asks.

- Must enjoy working with a vibrant team of outgoing personalities. 


Required Qualifications:


- Active PMP certification

- Experience managing teams of 50+ people

- 7+ years of IT project management experience, including Agile delivery

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with federal stakeholders

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field


Preferred Qualifications:


- PMI-ACP or SAFe certification

- Federal IT modernization or financial-regulatory experience

- Familiarity with AWS-based delivery and AI-assisted PM tooling (estimation, reporting)
