Job description

Role Title: Database Administrator
Required Skills - Oracle DBA, Performance Tuning Experience, Aurora Postgres, Aurora MySQL, Delphix Masking, Delphix Virtualization
Designing and maintaining schemas based on business and application requirements.
Supporting application releases: managing schema changes, data migrations
Troubleshooting SQL performance issues related to application code.
Collaborating with developers to optimize SQL queries and procedures.
Ensuring application/database compatibility during upgrades or new releases
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
 
Responsibilities:
Maintain and tune application databases for optimal performance. Support software development lifecycle (SDLC) with schema, scripts, and release management.
Ensure database reliability, backup, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve application-data related issues.
Collaborate actively with developers, architects, and business analysts.
 
Database Knowledge: Knowledge on Delphix Masking process Knowledge on Delphix Virtualization Proficiency in one or more RDBMS platforms: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL (AWS Aurora).
Understanding of database architecture, schema design, and data modeling. Advanced SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
Experience with PL/SQL, PG-PSQL, or appropriate procedural languages.
Knowledge of indexes, partitions, triggers, and database constraints.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting Using OEM, AWS Cloud watch, performance insights monitoring tools to track performance and availability.
Execution and tuning of database backup/restore and disaster recovery strategies.
