Job description

AWS Service Quotas is a small, high-leverage team that delivers outsized impact across all of AWS. We provide the centralized platform that gives AWS customers a single, consistent experience for viewing, managing, and requesting increases to their service quotas - regardless of which AWS service they use. Rather than navigating dozens of different service-specific workflows, customers come to one place to understand their limits, monitor usage, and unlock capacity when they need it.
Because every AWS service has quotas, and every AWS customer interacts with them, our work touches the entire AWS ecosystem

A single improvement we ship can positively impact millions of customers and directly remove friction from the path to increased AWS consumption and revenue growth.
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer who thrives on solving complex distributed systems problems at massive scale. You will design and build the services, APIs, and console experiences that define how customers interact with quotas across all of AWS. You'll work closely with hundreds of AWS service teams to drive adoption, improve automation, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key job responsibilities
* Design and build highly available, scalable services that serve as the backbone of quota management for all of AWS
* Drive architectural decisions that improve the consistency and reliability of the customer experience across 200+ integrated AWS services
* Develop automation that enables intelligent, real-time quota adjustments - reducing customer friction and accelerating workload growth
* Partner with AWS service teams to expand integration coverage, improve applied quota visibility, and increase automated approval rates
* Mentor engineers on the team and raise the technical bar through code reviews, design reviews, and operational excellence
