Role Overview:
This role is for an AWS Java Developer responsible for designing, developing, and deploying web and cloud-native applications using a comprehensive suite of AWS services. The position requires strong Java development skills, expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices, and hands-on experience with event-based systems. The successful candidate will contribute to building scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy web applications utilizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
  • Develop and maintain serverless architectures using AWS API Gateway, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Create and manage automated deployment pipelines with AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs using AWS API Gateway and Lambda.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks leveraging AWS CodeBuild and CodeDeploy.
  • Design and develop cloud-native applications using AWS services like ECS, EKS, and Fargate.
  • Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation and CloudWatch.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application performance with AWS CloudWatch and X-Ray.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices for AWS services including IAM, KMS, and CloudTrail.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
  • Design and develop serverless applications with AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
  • Develop and maintain automated backup and disaster recovery solutions using AWS EBS and S3.

Required Skills:
  • Advanced Java development skills.
  • Experience with Event-based systems.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on coding experience with Spring Boot concepts.
  • Good knowledge of Microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency with Git.
  • Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
  • Working knowledge of AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, AIM, and VPC.

Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of experience in Java development and cloud technologies.

Preferred Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka/Streaming technologies.
  • Experience with Flyway.
  • Experience with Jenkins.
