Title: Senior/Lead Java Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ. (5 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, guiding daily activities and delivery expectations
  • Define team standards, engineering practices, and collaboration approach
  • Drive design and development of scalable microservices-based applications
  • Anticipate and manage cross-team dependencies to ensure timely delivery
  • Partner with stakeholders to align on priorities, compliance standards, and SLAs
  • Promote a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and high performance

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10-15 years of hands-on software engineering experience
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
  • Proven experience working with AWS cloud technologies
  • Prior tech lead / team lead experience managing engineers
  • Strong understanding of:
    • CI/CD pipelines
    • Automation and DevOps practices
    • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    • Application resiliency & security
  • Experience working in Agile environments
