Entry-Level Welder/Fabricator
Location: 10 S. 11th Ave, Evansville, IN | Schedule: M-F 6AM-2:30PM | Pay: $21+
About the Role:
KOCH Finishing Systems is seeking motivated Entry-Level Welders/Fabricators to join our team. This hands-on role involves assembling and welding metal components for thermal and acoustic panels, tanks, piping, ovens, curtain coaters, and more. Training is provided, and we support your growth in welding and fabrication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and weld ductwork, doors, tanks, piping, ovens, curtain coaters, and heaters.
  • Set up and operate saws (vertical, horizontal, circular), drill presses, ironworkers, shears, punches, rollers, and benders.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications.
  • Inspect work for quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Welding Certificate from a technical school, community college, or high school CTE program OR
  • AWS, ASME, NCCER, or equivalent welding certification
  • Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
