Job description

Job Summary:
InterSources Inc is a company seeking a DevOps Lead / Solution Architect to lead solution design and ensure operational excellence. The role involves integrating various tools and providing technical leadership to the engineering team while establishing governance mechanisms.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Lead solution design for the GitHub Actionsโ€“driven orchestration framework integrating Octopus Deploy and ServiceNow.
โ€ข Define environment promotion flows (Future โ†’ Active โ†’ Staging โ†’ Prod) and implement guardrails for branch validation, dependency enforcement, and approvals.
โ€ข Develop reusable workflow templates and composite GitHub Actions.
โ€ข Partner with stakeholders (Architecture, Engineering, Change Management, CAB) to establish governance and approval mechanisms.
โ€ข Ensure backward compatibility with existing build/deploy scripts and artifacts.
โ€ข Oversee orchestration cutover and validation across Future, Active, LDQA, QA Perf, Staging, Partner, and Production environments.
โ€ข Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the DevOps engineering team.
โ€ข Drive operational excellence, ensuring deployment automation is reliable, resilient, and compliant with LPL governance/security policies.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 10+ years of professional SDLC experience with 5+ years in DevOps solution architecture.
โ€ข Deep hands-on expertise with GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, and ServiceNow integrations.
โ€ข Strong background in environment promotion flows, orchestration guardrails, and CAB approval automation.
โ€ข Experience supporting diverse tech stacks (e.g., .NET, Angular, Java).
โ€ข Proficiency in CI/CD design, orchestration, dependency management, and rollback strategies.
โ€ข Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
โ€ข Expertise in designing enterprise-grade CI/CD frameworks.
โ€ข Hands-on leadership with a strong balance of strategy and implementation.
โ€ข Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
โ€ข Familiarity with GitOps, IaC, Canary/BG deployments, and modern DevOps practices.
โ€ข Ability to align solutions with enterprise governance and compliance standards.
