What you will do:

As a District Sales Manager, you will be part of the regional York Process Systems (YPS) sales team focused on the promotion, training, engineering, and growth of York industrial refrigeration (IR) packaged systems. This is a sole contributor remote position, requiring up to 50% travel within the U.S. and/or Canada.

How You Will Do It:

Provide distinctive sales strategies and support, including but not limited to process cooling system designs and solutions tailored to customer needs.

Drive quarterly "Must Win" sales opportunities.

Focus on primary industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and various forms of gas compression within midstream and downstream markets.

Perform preliminary design of refrigeration systems, compile accurate project costing, liaise with vendors for quotations, and prepare project proposals that meet client requirements.

Develop YPS business in alignment with company objectives for sustainability, quality earnings, and continual growth.

Execute business initiatives to ensure total customer satisfaction and achieve desired business results.

Support YPS business in the assigned region with a focus on sustainability, quality earnings, and continual growth.

Ensure the success of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Leadership Review Plan (LRP) objectives within the YPS department.

Participate in marketing and promotional activities, including seminars, conferences, exhibitions, and other events that enhance business performance.

Actively maintain existing customer base and develop new customer base to ensure continuous business growth.

Monitor competitor activities, products, pricing, performance, and promotional

programs, and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Ensure all business operations and conduct conform to JCI policies.

Collaborate closely with other departments to achieve overall company objectives and performance targets.

Support the Waynesboro, PA facility teams and customer site visits.

Foster high morale and team spirit.

What We Look For:

Engineering Degree or equivalent (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Process)

10 years of HVAC or large equipment sales experience

3-5 years' experience in Chemical, Petrochemical, Refrigeration industry.

Technical understanding of industrial compression, industrial refrigeration and/or industrial heating

Background in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas is recommended

Knowledge of contract/project/credit management, pricing, quotations, business and technical proposals, vendor negotiations, and budgeting.

Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and relationship management skills.

Must be a proactive team player

Broad-based engineering background with process refrigeration knowledge.

Experience managing CRM platforms, such as Salesforce

Salary Range: HIRING SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - 125,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis.
