Job description

IMP NOTE:-

  • Weekend Schedule (ONSITE): These candidates will work 6 am – 6 pm on both Saturday and Sunday (24 hours in total and then they would pick two other days to work during the week to hit the 40 hours)
  • They should have AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification. It is the first Certification for basic AWS knowledge.  If they don’t have it, they will need to get it during the trial period.

Job Description:

  • Three to five years database administrator, data modeling, business systems analyst, development, or related work experience. Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
  • Experience with database administration in AWS for Postgres, DynamoDB, MySQL, and RedShift with highly available environments and failover/ DR solutions.
  • Experience with database administration in Oracle, SQL Server and associated using high availability (Oracle RAC, SQL Server Availability Groups) and disaster recovery tools (Oracle Dataguard).

Nice to Have:

  • Linux system administration, including Redhat-based systems like Centos or Oracle Linux, monitoring systems - developing scripts and using applications to monitor systems and databases and Support development teams in tasks related to database including performance tuning, DB migration to new platform, assistance to DB query and structure definition.
  • Oracle and/or SQL Server Certification
