Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking an AVP Supply Chain Americas based in Indianapolis, IN. The AVP Supply Chain Americas is responsible for translating global and regional supply chain strategies into actionable plans across manufacturing plants in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for all regional supply chain functions, including Sales & Operations Planning (SOP), demand forecasting, production and capacity planning, materials management, logistics, and inventory optimization. The AVP Supply Chain Americas ensures alignment across sites to meet customer requirements, enhances service levels, drives cost efficiency, and supports the operational and financial goals of the Americas manufacturing network.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $195,000 - $205,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.). What you will do
  • Translate global and regional supply chain strategies, policies, and standards into actionable and harmonized plans tailored to the operational, regulatory, and customer requirements of the manufacturing plants across the Americas Hub (U.S., Canada, and Mexico)
  • Lead the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) process across the Americas manufacturing plants, ensuring cross-functional alignment among Production, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Logistics to develop integrated and balanced demand, supply, and financial plans tailored to each plantโ€™s operational context
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Product Management teams throughout the Americas to generate and sustain reliable, data-informed demand forecasts that guide production planning, streamline inventory management, and support timely, consistent customer deliveries across all manufacturing locations
  • Optimize production, capacity, and inventory planning across the Americas manufacturing plants to align with forecasted demand, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks related to material availability, capacity constraints, labor resources, and cross-border dependencies
What we require
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales & Operations Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
What we prefer
  • SAP ERP System Expertise, SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) experience
  • Masterโ€™s degree (MBA or equivalent)
  • American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) or Institute of Business Forecasting & Planning (IBF) certification
