Job description

Position Title:Cash Management Relationship Specialist

Reports to:AVP, Cash Management Relationship & Solutions Officer

Location:Onsite to start (Greenfield) with hybrid schedule after initial training period

Job Summary

The Cash Management Relationship Specialist provides a single point of contact for commercial customers by delivering exceptional service, technical expertise, and operational support related to business and consumer deposit accounts and Cash Management services. This role is responsible for opening and maintaining accounts, implementing and supporting Cash Management products, and serving as subject matter expert for business online services.

The position performs a variety of detail-oriented and auditable operational activities requiring a high degree of accuracy, regulatory compliance, risk awareness, and customer communication. Working closely with Retail, Business Development, Deposit Operations, and customers, this position supports the Bank's strategic growth objectives while ensuring an exceptional customer experience and adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Core Competencies
  • Demonstrates exceptional customer service to internal and external customers through in-person, telephone, email, and digital communication channels.
  • Maintains a strong understanding of operational risk and follows established risk mitigation procedures. Identifies potential fraud concerns and escalates suspicious activity in accordance with Bank policy.
  • Maintains accuracy and attention to detail while performing high-volume operational tasks & responsibilities.
  • Exercises sound judgment and problem-solving skills when researching and resolving customer issues.
  • Maintains professional communication and documentation standards.
  • Develops and maintains expertise in Cash Management, Digital Banking, ACH, Wires, Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Capture, and related digital platforms.
  • Contributes to procedural development, workflow improvements, and a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities Additions
  • Work with VP Cash Management Officer & Commercial lenders to process and open new accounts for commercial customers. This includes identifying account options, collecting documentation, order checks & debit cards, and onboarding applicable cash management services needed.
  • Research, investigate, and resolve complex customer inquiries related to Cash Management products, digital banking services, account maintenance, and payment transactions.
  • Initiate, monitor, and complete workflows within applicable servicing, CRM, and onboarding systems.
  • Identify, mitigate, and elevate operational risk concerns in accordance with Bank policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and documentation of departmental procedures and operational controls.
  • Support audit and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to established processes.
  • Partner with Retail, Deposit Operations, and Business Development teams to support commercial customer onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
  • Maintain awareness of fraud trends and support the identification and reporting of suspicious activity.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of banking, cash management, digital banking, deposit operations, or related financial services experience.
  • Extensive customer service experience with demonstrated ability to build and maintain commercial customer relationships.
  • Understanding of Cash Management services including ACH, Wire Transfers, Remote Deposit Capture, Positive Pay, Business Online Banking, and related payment technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify operational risk and follow appropriate risk mitigation procedures.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail in a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and business technology platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
