Job description

Resident Care Director (RN or LPN)

Are you a nurse seeking an opportunity to work in a beautiful, caring environment serving seniors?  Aviva Glendale is seeking a Nurse Leader to make a difference in the lives of our residents.

Join us at Aviva Glendale and be part of a community that prioritizes the well-being and happiness of our residents, fostering a sense of comfort, connection, and joy every day.  Located in Toledo, Ohio, our community offers a warm, inviting environment where residents can truly thrive. We specialize in providing top-notch assisted living, memory care, and short-term respite care.

At Aviva Senior Living, we are committed to providing a supportive and engaging environment. The goal of quality resident care is to enable each resident, where possible, to function at the highest level, to attain a stage of independence, or to at least prevent regression. Resident care is not passive maintenance; an active approach will always be taken.

  • Ability to perform duties with consideration for residents’ rights at all times and demonstrate integrity and discretion in the care of residents and in handling their health information.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving leadership, and motivational skills.
  • Knowledge of management, fiscal, and medical/nursing practices and procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to senior living.
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, interpret, and manage programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and resources necessary to provide quality of care.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Benefits:

  • Medical/Prescription Insurance
  • Dental Insurance
  • Vision Insurance
  • Training and Education Programs
  • Matching 401K
  • 15 Days Paid Time Off
