We work with the Department of War to provide the high-speed capabilities our nation and its allies need to maintain a durable, asymmetric advantage.
As an Avionics Electrical Engineer at Hermeus, you will be responsible for the design, testing, and integration of GNC systems, electrical hardware, control software, power distribution, and RF communications for our hypersonic vehicles.
Responsibilities:
  • You will shape the future of commercial supersonic and hypersonic flight. Our team is responsible for the design, testing, and integration of GNC systems, electrical hardware, control software, power distribution, and RF communications.
  • The Electrical Engineer position requires system-level architects who are also experts in their specialized areas.
  • As an avionics electrical engineer, you'll take charge of designing and testing custom electrical systems for both ground test and flight applications.
  • You will ensure the seamless integration and compatibility of your designs at the sub-system and integrated system level.
  • As a member of the avionics team, you'll have the opportunity to work across disciplines to create control and instrumentation systems for engine, structural, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • 1+ years of experience in multiple of the following areas: electrical hardware design, control systems, instrumentation and signal conditioning, digital communication busses, analog design and simulation, power electronics, harness design
