Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aviation Safety Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections of aircraft, maintenance facilities, and aviation operations to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards. This includes performing on-site inspections, reviewing documentation, investigating incidents, and preparing detailed reports. The role requires a strong understanding of aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA, or equivalent), excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Significant travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of aircraft, components, and maintenance records.
  • Inspect aviation facilities, including hangars, repair stations, and airports.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and reported safety concerns.
  • Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, documenting findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory changes.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to aviation personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Aviation Safety Inspector or in a directly related role.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or equivalent international certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards.
