The Opportunity:
Are you ready to take your aviation career to the next level? We're seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Assistant Chief Flight Instructor to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of pilots at ERAU.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the designated FAR Part 141 Assistant Chief Instructor, supporting training, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Manage flight instructor training programs, certifications, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee curriculum updates and ensure adherence to FAA and University standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety and regulatory compliance while fostering instructor and student success.
  • Act as a key liaison for students, instructors, and leadership, ensuring seamless communication and effective problem-solving.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in aviation or a related field (advanced degrees preferred).
  • COM ASMEL IR, CFI, MEI, CFII required; ATP and AGI/IGI preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of piloting experience, with 3+ years in training roles.
  • Deep knowledge of FAA regulations and training program management.
