  • Perform system-level RMA modeling, analysis, and performance predictions to assess system reliability, availability, maintainability, and operational performance.
  • Support system and design reviews , providing RMA assessments and recommendations to identify risks and improve system performance.
  • Develop and support test plans, procedures, and evaluations to verify compliance with RMA requirements.
  • Perform failure analysis and trending , identify root causes and systemic issues, and support the development and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support reliability growth initiatives by evaluating field performance, failure trends, and corrective-action effectiveness.
  • Analyze field maintenance, operational, and maintenance-data-collection information to assess system performance and identify opportunities for reliability and maintainability improvements.
  • Develop and evaluate system sustainment scenarios and provide RMA engineering support for lifecycle planning and operational availability assessments.
  • Collaborate with systems engineering, hardware, software, maintenance, logistics, test, and program teams to integrate RMA considerations throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Provide RMA engineering expertise in support of FAA-sponsored programs within the National Airspace System .

  • Experience supporting systems subject to government or industry RMA requirements, standards, and engineering processes .
  • Experience analyzing field performance, maintenance, failure, or operational data to assess system reliability and identify performance trends.
  • Familiarity with aviation systems, air traffic management systems, or the National Airspace System (NAS) .
