What is an Aviation Software React developer?

An Aviation Software React developer is a software engineer who specializes in building and maintaining user interfaces for aviation-related applications using the React JavaScript library. These professionals work on software such as flight management systems, airport operations dashboards, or pilot training tools, ensuring they are responsive, user-friendly, and reliable. They collaborate with aviation experts to understand industry requirements and implement features that enhance safety and efficiency. Strong knowledge of both React and the unique needs of the aviation industry is essential for this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Aviation Software React Developer, and why are they important?

To excel as an Aviation Software React Developer, you need strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, and software engineering fundamentals, typically supported by a degree in computer science or related experience. Familiarity with aviation-specific systems, APIs, and tools like Git, Jira, and cloud platforms, as well as knowledge of regulatory standards such as DO-178C, are often required. Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and clear communication skills help you collaborate effectively and ensure high-quality, safety-critical software. These skills are crucial to delivering reliable applications that meet stringent aviation standards and support mission-critical operations.

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to design, build, and deliver scalable, high-performance software solutions that power mission-critical aviation workflows. This role will play a key part in developing modern web and cloud-based applications used by both internal teams and global clients.

You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to transform requirements into robust, user-friendly applications that drive operational efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications supporting aviation maintenance and operational workflows
  • Build modern, responsive front-end interfaces using frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar technologies
