Job description

DPI Staffing is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our customer at Thurgood Marshall Airport. In this role, you will gather and analyze data to evaluate, identify, and track cleaning issues as part of the team, administer the JAMS quality control tool and its interface with the BWI Restroom Alert System, and supervise, train, and monitor administrative activities related to quality. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, along with compassion and respect for people with disabilities.
 
Quality Assurance Supervisor
Location: Baltimore, MD
Pay Rate: $30.32 Hourly
 
No Clearance Required | U.S. Citizenship Required | Full-Time
 
WHAT YOU'LL DO
 
  • Track all maintenance calls.
  • Track janitorial work orders, analyze data, and generate reports as required.
  • Collect and interpret data for weekly and monthly reporting, including QC inspection results, response times, and recurring deficiencies, and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Train staff in the use of Restroom Alert and JAMS.
  • Utilize an Android device and computer for data input and retrieval.
  • Maintain continual communication with the MAA and BWI Airport Operations Center to respond to concerns and provide information.
  • React immediately to custodial emergencies.
  • Create, track, trend, and analyze terminal usage data from MAA, direct observation, or Chimes data collection.
  • Act as QA Manager when the QA Manager is unavailable.
  • Oversee and inspect the cleaning activities of custodial staff within an assigned area of responsibility.
  • Identify sub-standard cleaning procedures or misuse of materials and assist in correcting deficiencies.
  • Observe and enforce BWI security procedures for unescorted access to the Security Identification Display Area (SIDA).
 
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Minimum two years of experience in a managerial role including administrative and supervisory oversight.
  • Previous experience with Maximo, JAMS, and Restroom Alert preferred.
  • Previous experience in custodial operations preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong typing and computer skills, with thorough knowledge of standard English and basic arithmetic.
  • Valid driver's license (held for 3+ years) with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license from state of residence and ability to drive
  • License must have been valid for at least 3 years
