About the job

We’re the new terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport, a bold and exciting project to develop a world class, international terminal that can serve as a global gateway to the New York metropolitan area and the greater United States. The $9+ billion first phase is the largest single asset project financing in US history. The first set of new gates are expected to open in 2026.


We will set a new standard for design and service and aspires to obtain a global Top 5 Skytrax rating as one of the finest ten airport terminals in the world.

Who you are:

As the Network Infrastructure Manager, you are an accomplished leader with a robust background in network and IT infrastructure management. You possess deep technical expertise in CISCO network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VoIP, routers, switches, wireless, ISPs, firewalls, and security devices. You have a proven track record in managing Data Center network operations and overseeing sub-contracted technical resources. Your experience spans both Terminal and Enterprise networks, and you are adept at ensuring the high availability, performance, reliability, scalability, and effectiveness of network and computing systems.

What are we looking for:

We seek a driven Network Infrastructure Manager who will ensure the delivery of quality and responsive services through ongoing preventative maintenance, assessment, and proactive monitoring. Reporting into the Network Infrastructure Director, you will be responsible for the optimization and management of our network infrastructure, aligning IT strategies with the company's objectives. Your ability to develop and enforce policies, manage ITIL processes, and provide leadership in IT disaster recovery and business continuity planning is crucial. Your skills in collaborating with results-driven teams and managing network security measures are essential for our organization's success.


What you will be doing:

  • Overseeing the management of all network operations, including Terminal and Enterprise networks.
  • Ensuring operational high availability and effectiveness of network systems, both on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Developing and shaping a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy.
  • Maintaining and ensuring the integrity of our IT infrastructure and fiber backbone.
  • Implementing, upgrading, and maintaining server and storage systems, and establishing service level agreements.
  • Delivering network engineering and design support and providing technical expertise.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for project planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Updating and managing IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans.
  • Coordinating with the Director of Cyber Security to implement network security measures against cyber threats.
  • Performing additional tasks as required to support the organization's needs.


Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in networking, including VPNs, DDI, load balancers, and network security, ideally with Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, and Infoblox and VoIP technologies.
  • Strong experience with Cisco DNAC, ISE, and network management tools
  • A solid foundation in Software Defined Networks such as Cisco SD-Access, AC, and controller-based WLAN
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent.
  • Airport/aviation experience is a plus.
  • Self-driven, critical thinker with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and focus on customer needs with high emotional intelligence.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills, including proficiency in Jira, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in network infrastructure management, with relevant certifications in Cisco technologies.
  • Experience supporting VMware, Active Directory, Azure, and M365

Where will you work:

Hybrid on-site in Jamaica Queens. As we progress towards its operational phase, your role will transition to the vibrant and dynamic environment of JFK International Airport.
