  • Lead voluntary safety programs such as ASAP, FOQA, and LOSA where applicable, and coordinate internal audits and management of change processes
  • Develop the company's code of conduct, conflict of interest policy, whistleblower program, and anti-bribery and trade sanctions compliance
  • Oversee data privacy compliance, including CCPA and PCI-DSS, and build employee training programs on regulatory and ethical obligations
  • Coordinate response to regulatory inquiries, audits, and enforcement actions, and support board reporting on compliance posture

Requirements

  • 10+ years of compliance, regulatory affairs, or aviation safety experience, with significant time at a Part 121 or Part 135 air carrier
  • Deep working knowledge of FAA regulations, particularly Parts 5, 91, 119, 121, 135, and 145
  • Experience building or substantially upgrading SMS programs at an operating air carrier
  • Demonstrated success engaging FAA leadership in certification or oversight contexts
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or aviation-specific certifications preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct participation in a Part 121 certification process
  • Aviation Safety Officer credentials or equivalent specialized training
  • Prior experience at a startup carrier or operator launching a new certificate
  • Background in luxury hospitality or premium service environments

Benefits

Remuneration & Benefits Package

  • Base Salary: $200,000 to $260,000 annually + Performance-Based Compensation
