Job description

CTR Group is seeking a Cabinet Shop Technician for a manufacturer of industrial electrical cabinets in Newport News, VA

Former Avionics Electrician or Aviation Electronics Technician very welcome!

Pay Range $25 - $29 per Hour plus Benefits.

SUMMARY:

Follow drawing and instructions under general supervision, mounting assembled components, assemble cables and connectors. Use simple hand tools, volt meters and related test instruments in the fabrication of electronic cable.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Former Aviation Electronics Tech or Avionics Electrician ideal
  • Strong Schematic Reading/Knowledge of Color Codes
  • Stripping and Crimping fine wires.
  • Test involves being giving a schematic and 9 wires of various colors. The person will have 45 minutes to read the schematic, choose the right color wire, strip it, route it on the panel, crimp and connect it to the right place. NEATNESS COUNTS.
