Job description

SECOND IN COMMAND

Aviation Advisor is seeking a highly motivated and safety focused Second in Command Pilot to join our team operating Citation CJ3, CJ2, and CJ1 aircraft. This role is ideal for a candidate who values operational excellence, collaborative crew dynamics, and delivering exceptional service to our passengers. As part of our flight department, the SIC will support all facets of safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and reliability. This position reports directly to the Chief Pilot. Operations are conducted under FAR part 91 and 135. Aircraft is based at the Toledo Express Airport (KTOL) in Swanton, Ohio.

SICMinimum Requirements
  • 1,500 Total Flight Hours
  • 100 Hours of Multi-Engine Time
  • ATP or ATP Written

PILOT IN COMMAND

As a captain for the Citation CJ series, you will be entrusted with the safe executions of flights, holding the ultimate authority in the aircraft’s operations. Your primary responsibilities include ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and foreign regulations, as well as adhering to company policies and procedures outlined in the operations manual. The pilot in command plays a crucial role as the company’s prominent representative to passengers, requiring the highest level of professionalism while ensuring the efficiency and safety of operations. This position reports directly to the Chief Pilot. Operations are conducted under FAR part 91 and 135.

PICMinimum Requirements
  • 3,000 Total Flight Hours
  • 1,500 PIC Time
  • 200 Hours of Multi-Engine Time
  • ATP or ATP Written
Pilot Qualifications
  • Multi-Engine Land Airline Transport Pilots License
  • Current First Class Medical Certificate
  • Proficient in radiotelephone communications
  • Ability to pass drug tests, TSA background screenings, and obtain ID badge and ramp driving privileges
  • Valid passport and driver’s license
  • Reside within a two-hour personal commute time from KARR
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency in business software: MS Word, Excel, Outlook
