Job description


We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of urologic conditions affecting adult patients. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach to care. This role includes both outpatient consultations and surgical procedures in Delray Medical Center and/or Boca Raton Regional Hospital. 
Great work life balance!  Hours are 9:00-5:00 (closed 12:00-1:00 daily).
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Diagnose and treat disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system in adult patients (average patient in 70’s) 
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as cystoscopies, urodynamics, and imaging studies 
  • Manage conditions including kidney stones, incontinence, urinary tract infections, prostate issues, and cancers of the bladder, kidneys, and prostate 
  • Perform urologic surgeries including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures 
  • Prescribe and monitor medications and nonsurgical treatments 
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians, oncologists, nephrologists, and other specialists as needed 
  • Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment plans 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards 
 
Qualifications: 
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution 
  • Completion of an accredited Urology residency program 
  • Valid medical license (or ability to obtain) in the state of Florida 
  • Fellowship training (optional) in subspecialties such as urologic oncology, endourology, or female urology is a plus 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care 
 
Preferred Experience: 
  • 2+ years of post-residency clinical practice (new grads welcome to apply) 
  • Experience with robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques 
  • Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic) 
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology preferred
