Job description

Overview
Radiology Technologist (Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist) — Hilo, HI — start 09/14/2026 — 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay: $2,029–$2,211 per week. Rotating shifts with an average of 3 days of call per month. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures as ordered, including DR fixed, DR portable, and fluoroscopy studies.
- Properly position patients, select exposure factors, and operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images; maintain patient and staff safety.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols; monitor dosimetry badge use and follow ALARA principles.
- Document procedures and results in the Epic EMR; communicate findings with radiologists and referring physicians.
- Maintain imaging equipment, perform routine quality checks, and report any malfunctions or needed service.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to adapt to rotating shifts and on-call requirements.
Requirements
- Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license (Radiographer) required, active by start
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of independent radiologic technologist experience
- Proficiency with radiographic equipment including DR fixed, DR fluoroscopy, C-arms, portable DR equipment; experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, EPIC EMR; dosimetry badge required
- Travel readiness: must arrive on the island prior to the start date for HR/EH clearance and must be available for the scheduled start
