Job description

Company Name: Andy's Statewide Heating & Air Conditioning Overview:

Industry: HVAC
Schedule: Full-time, year-round work
Location: Detroit metro and surrounding areas

Join Andy's Statewide, part of American Residential Services (ARS), the nation’s largest provider of residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services, with over 7,000 team members and more than 45 years of experience delivering trusted home comfort solutions to customers across the country.

Comp & Schedule:

  • Compensation: Uncapped performance commission. Includes a training safety net salary that moves to a draw.
  • Potential: $100K – $200K+ for high-volume producers.
  • Schedule: Full-time hours, stable year-round pipeline.

About the Role:

The most successful sales professionals in our company didn't start in HVAC—they transitioned from roofing, solar, basement waterproofing, home remodeling, or generator sales. If you are a seasoned outside sales closer who wants a stable environment with consistent lead flow without the seasonal drop-offs of other trades, this is your next step. Join an organization backed by 45+ years of market leadership and 7,000 nationwide team members.

The Perks:

  • Steady workflow: Average of 55+ scheduled, warm appointments monthly.
  • Corporate assets: Dispatched take-home vehicle, fuel card, and tech package.
  • Solid benefits: Medical coverage as low as $5 a week, dental/vision options, and matching 401(k).
  • Balance: 13 days of PTO plus 8 corporate paid holidays.
  • Company-generated warm leads – no cold calling or door knocking

  • 3–4 scheduled appointments per day (lead volume may fluctuate based on weather demand)

  • Minimum expectation of 55 leads per month

  • Uncapped commission structure designed for high performers

  • Training salary that transitions to a draw once ramp-up is complete

  • Weekly commission settlements so you can easily track your income

Responsibilities:

Daily Functions of a Residential Outside Sales Advisor:

  • Arrive at pre-booked homeowner appointments to run technical system assessments for their HVAC system replacement needs.
  • Evaluate current physical equipment layout, requiring access to attics, basements, or crawlspaces.
  • Deliver professional, energy-efficient recommendations using a "whole-home" system approach.
  • Manage financing inquiries, overcome objections, and complete the one-visit close.
  • Monitor the job cycle through to deployment to secure top-tier customer ratings.

Lead flow is consistent, but volume can fluctuate depending on seasonal and weather-driven demand.

Qualifications: What You Need
  • Background in high-ticket, residential consumer-facing sales (In-Home services preferred).
  • Strong presentation skills with a natural ability to close on the first meeting.
  • HVAC knowledge helpful (training provided)
  • Clear driving record, plus successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
  • Comfortable working in variable field environments (extreme heat/cold in attics or tight spaces).

This is a performance-driven sales role designed for closers who thrive in a consultative, one-call sales environment.
