Job description

BattleCreek Campus Internship

BattleCreek Church is looking for ministry-focused, Christ-centered individuals to help further their mission. The BattleCreek Campus Internship is for hard-working and driven young adults (must be at least 18 years old) who are ready to gain valuable ministry experience while developing in their leadership.

As a campus intern, you'll get 1-on-1 training from one of our pastors, gain ministry experience, hands on leadership opportunities, and holistic development. The BattleCreek campus internship was created to help young adults develop as leaders, grow spiritually, know your calling, sharpen your skills, gain real life ministry experience, and be prepared to serve in the local church.

BattleCreek is currently seeking young adults who feel called to full-time ministry but may not have full-time ministry experience. Interns will have the opportunity to develop under some of the best leaders in ministry and work in a team environment that encourages overall growth.

Full-time Campus Internship start dates: September 14, 2026 (Application deadline: July 12, 2026) and March 2027 (Application Deadline: January 10, 2027).

Full-time internships are 6 months long and are full-time (40 hours a week). Interns will develop spiritually, personally, and professionally through hands-on ministry experience, book discussions, staff training events, and other ministry opportunities.

Interns can choose their area that they are interested in. Areas for internships include: Hello Team, Youth, Kids, Groups, Operations, and Worship.

Remember, this isn't your average internship. So, we'll really love it if:

You have a sense of humor and if your idea of an internship has way more to do with making an impact on the kingdom than getting coffee and making copies.

Full-time Interns are paid hourly and are considered full-time temporary employees of BattleCreek. This position typically pays $15 per hour.

Due to the nature of the institute's ministry consisting of 5 local campuses in the Greater Tulsa area, each intern must have their own vehicle and cell phone for the duration of the internship. A personal cell phone is required. All interns must agree and adhere to BattleCreek Church's internal and external core values, code of conduct, and consent to a background check. All interns must be aged 18+ for the full-time internship.
