Job description

Tired of big city living? TeamHealth is actively seeking experienced nurse practitioners and physician assistants to join our nocturnist hospital medicine team at Hilo Medical Center in beautiful Hilo, Hawaii. This is a permanent, employee-based opportunity to practice in an established, collegial program while enjoying an affordable island lifestyle.
About the Practice
  • Physician onsite overnight 
  • Moderate acuity patient population
  • Median night admissions: 6 - 10
  • No procedures required
  • Epic EMR
  • Must have NP/PA hospital medicine experience

Schedule and Commitment
  • Flexible full-time scheduling: 7-on/7-off or alternative arrangements available
  • 120 - 180 hours per month required for full-time status
  • Nocturnist hours: 7:00pm - 7:00am
  • This opportunity is ideal for hospital medicine advanced practice clinicians seeking a stable nocturnist role, strong physician collaboration, and the chance to live and work on the Big Island without the cost pressures of other Hawaiian markets
