Digital Consultants is seeking an AV Field Technician to join our team! As the AV Field Technician, you will support audiovisual operations at various field offices nationwide. In this role, you will assist in AV installations, preventive maintenance, and equipment setup and teardown, working alongside experienced AV professionals to ensure mission-critical systems perform reliably in high-security federal environments.


Duties to include:

  • Support installation, setup, and teardown of AV systems at field offices across the country
  • Assist in the performance of Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) on AV equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic AV equipment and system issues in coordination with senior technicians
  • Install, terminate, and connect AV equipment including displays, video wall panels, audio systems, and associated cabling (analog and digital)
  • Travel to field offices and event locations nationwide to support AV operations and event-based deployments
  • Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities in support of site documentation
  • Manage and maintain inventories of installed equipment and spare parts at assigned locations
  • Follow all security protocols, access procedures, and clearance requirements applicable to federal government facilities

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3 year of experience in AV installation, maintenance, or technical support
  • Clearance: Active Secret clearance; Top Secret preferred.
  • Preferred (not required) Certifications: AVIXA CTS, CAVT, or equivalent AV certification
  • Experience terminating and connecting both analog and digital AV signal types
  • Ability and willingness to travel nationwide to various field offices and event locations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights required for equipment installation
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to work in federal government environments and adhere to applicable security requirements

Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $65,000 - 85,000.
