JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Engineer / Conference Room Technology Specialist to design, implement, support, and troubleshoot audio-visual and collaboration technology solutions across conference rooms, situation rooms, and other enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in AV systems, collaboration platforms, troubleshooting, vendor management, and project coordination.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, implement, configure, and support audio-visual solutions for conference rooms, situation rooms, and enterprise collaboration spaces.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Surface Hub, Poly/Polycom, and other conference room AV equipment.
  • Support and administer collaboration technologies including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, audio, video, and conference room technology issues.
  • Provide technical support for conference room and AV equipment, ensuring reliable and high-quality user experiences.
  • Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and third-party service providers for AV implementations and issue resolution.
  • Manage AV-related projects, including planning, implementation, scheduling, coordination, and delivery.
  • Manage vendors and coordinate vendor activities, deliverables, troubleshooting, and service requirements.
  • Apply ITIL principles and established IT service management practices to incident, request, and problem resolution.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for incident, request, change, and service management activities.
  • Document technical configurations, troubleshooting procedures, solutions, and operational processes.
  • Provide clear technical communication and user support to stakeholders at all organizational levels.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated hands-on technical experience in audio-visual and conference room technologies.
  • Relevant engineering or technical certifications focused on audio-visual and conference room equipment, including technologies such as Microsoft Surface Hub and Poly/Polycom.
  • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification.
  • Experience implementing and supporting audio-visual solutions for conference rooms and situation rooms.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Teams and Zoom collaboration technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with project management and technical project coordination.
  • Experience with vendor management and third-party technology providers.
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and IT service management practices.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
