Remote Position | Candidates must reside in Florida, Georgia, or Tennessee
Do you enjoy the challenge of turning complex bid documents into winning AV solutions? We are looking for a Pre-Sales AV Systems Design Engineer to join our engineering team. This is a work-from-home position for an experienced commercial AV professionals located in Florida, Georgia, or Tennessee.
If you're an experienced AV systems designer who thrives on solving technical problems, collaborating with sales teams, and creating accurate, high-quality bid documentation, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
You'll be the technical expert behind our bid responses, transforming construction drawings, specifications, and customer requirements into professional engineering packages that help win projects. Working alongside our sales and marketing teams, you'll:
• Design commercial AV systems for competitive bids
• Develop shop drawings, pull sheets, and technical documentation
• Identify scope gaps and project risks before they become costly issues
• Collaborate with sales to deliver technically sound proposals
• Support our engineering team with additional engineering and design work between bid opportunities
Qualified Applicants Must Have:
  • 3-5+ years of commercial audiovisual system design or engineering experience
  • AVIXA CTS certification required (CTS-D preferred)
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, D-Tools, Bluebeam, and related AV design tools
  • Ability to read architectural and construction drawings
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bid deadlines
  • A detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys collaborating with others and delivering high-quality work
