QA Automation Engineer (Banking)

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer with over 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Selenium and Java, along with a basic understanding of SQL and API testing. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in automation testing. 

• Tools: Proficiency in Selenium and Java/ Playwright with Java 

• SQL: Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation. 

• API Testing: Basic understanding and experience with API testing preferably with Karate Framework. 

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.

 • Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.

• Test Execution: Execute automated tests, analyse results, and report defects.

• Autosys: Schedule and Manage automation jobs using Autosys.

• API Testing: Perform basic API testing to ensure the functionality and reliability of APIs.

• SQL Knowledge: Utilize basic SQL skills to validate data and perform database testing.

• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes.

 • Documentation: Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
