Shift SupervisorAutonomous Vehicle Operations
Location: Los Angeles, CA (On-site)
Pay: $37/hour | Full-Time (30+ hrs/week) | Contract 
We are hiring a Shift Supervisor to lead a team of Autonomous Vehicle Operators (AVOs) in a fast-paced fleet operations environment. This is a hands-on, player-coach role where you’ll oversee vehicle testing operations, safety compliance, and team performance.
What You’ll Do
  • Supervise and coach vehicle operators (VOs) during AV testing
  • Ensure safety protocols, SOP compliance, and operational excellence
  • Support software + hardware testing workflows in autonomous vehicles
  • Manage shift schedules, reporting, and team coordination
  • Provide performance feedback and real-time coaching
  • Act as liaison between operations, contractors, and leadership

Requirements
  • 2+ years Autonomous Vehicle Operator (AVO/AVT) experience
  • Active AVT permit
  • Prior leadership / supervisory experience
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
  • Clean driving record

Preferred
  • Experience in autonomous vehicle industry / fleet operations
  • Background as Team Lead, Instructor, or Supervisor
  • Familiarity with Zoox or similar AV systems
