CACI is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) - Ground Systems with experience in SysML using modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler. This role focuses on applying MBSE methodologies to enabling data-driven decision-making for warfighting capabilities focused on foreign ground force systems, including armor/anti-armor, artillery, air defense (radar and missiles), infantry weapons, command/control (C3) systems and UAS.
Responsibilities:
The Model Based System Engineer (MBSE) will provide support for systems requirements definition, architecture analysis, and design analysis which includes, but is not limited to:
Apply MBSE to develop and maintain SysML models in Cameo to capture requirements, use cases, and system architecture.
Support mission engineering, analysis, system functions and developing functional and performance requirements and integration of foreign ground force systems, including armor/anti-armor, artillery, air defense (radar and missiles), infantry weapons, command/control (C3) systems and UAS. Ensure traceability between architecture models, IC data compliance, and program requirements.
Demonstrate and utilize modeling tools such as Cameo and other similar tools and languages such as SysML, to assist the customer with the various technical requirements and mission planning. Develop and analyze MBSE models to derive mission threads and use cases to aid in system-level verification planning.
Apply knowledge of foreign ground force systems to create technical diagrams with SysML that accurately outline data flows amongst system components.
Required:
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Journeyman level:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology.
5 years' experience in analysis, development, evaluation, integration, or testing of DoD systems.
• Senior level:
Master of Science degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology.
10 years' experience in analysis, development, evaluation, integration, or testing of DoD systems.
Experience with:
• Cameo and SysML
• C5 systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and able to relate effectively with program employees, government client representatives, and internal organizational functional representatives.
• A collaborative, team-centric attitude and enthusiasm that encourages outreach and partnership.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and requirements simultaneously in a diverse and dynamic environment with short notice and under high pressure in high visibility situations.
Desired:
• Scripting skills (JavaScript, Python) for Cameo automation.
• Basic knowledge of C++ and/or MATLAB.
• Systems Engineering experience within the DoD.
