Job description


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the performance and ensure the continued operation of the BladeAssure system in our facilities.
  • Escalate as needed issues that arise through system operation and drive resolution.
  • Create necessary documentation for processes and verification of process, i.e., work instructions, quality documentation, PFMEA, inspection instructions, etc.
  • Function as an "on the floor" BladeAssure expert ensuring compliance of process and systems enabling product performance.
  • Ensure successful training and hand-off of process to production team.
  • Support trials and prototyping of new technologies and features under the BladeAssure program.
  • Drive standardization efforts at the site by working with Engineering, Quality Supply Chain, and other related departments.
  • Engage and utilize subject matter experts as needed to achieve desired results. Identify and elevate system issues and track their progress towards resolution.
  • Confer with Management, Engineering, and other staff regarding system performance, operating status, ongoing issues, and resolutions.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Education/ Skills/ Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Passion to work on mechanical automation equipment, robots, design of electromechanical/pneumatic systems, and motion controls.
  • Solid engineering background with hands-on experience and high mechanical aptitude.
  • Understands the nuances of autonomous system requirements, algorithms and operating environments.
  • Understands the integration of equipment design into existing or new systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Knowledge of firmware, safety controllers, and track programming.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects with a focus on safety, quality, cost, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to customize system configurations, including PLC programming and CMMS adjustments, to meet specific operational requirements. - Nice to have
  • Proven experience deploying and supporting CbM, CMMS, or PLC systems in industrial environments.
