Position Overview

At Isos Technology, every billable team member is a consultant first, focused on helping clients solve meaningful business challenges and achieve lasting results.

As a Solution Architect, you will serve as the technical leader on client engagements, partnering closely with clients and cross-functional consulting teams to design and deliver scalable Atlassian solutions that align technology with business objectives. You will bridge business and technical conversations, translate complex requirements into practical solutions, and guide implementation teams through successful delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building trusted client relationships, and providing strategic technical leadership while remaining hands-on throughout implementation. You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of industries and client environments while helping shape innovative solutions that create measurable business value.

Success in this role means becoming a trusted advisor to clients, consistently delivering high-quality solutions, mentoring fellow consultants, and contributing to the continued growth of both our clients and the Isos consulting practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead solution design for Atlassian implementations, ensuring technical solutions align with client business objectives and long-term strategy.
  • Partner with clients to understand business challenges, facilitate requirements discovery, and translate needs into scalable solution architectures.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout engagements, guiding implementation teams and recommending best practices across the Atlassian ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Engagement Leads, consultants, and cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and with exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Support multiple client engagements simultaneously while effectively managing priorities, timelines, and competing demands.
  • Identify technical risks, implementation challenges, and opportunities for process improvement, proactively recommending solutions.
  • Contribute to client retention, account growth, and project profitability through exceptional consulting and trusted advisory relationships.
  • Support engagement planning, status reporting, documentation, and ongoing client communications.
  • Maintain and expand Atlassian expertise by earning and maintaining required certifications and accreditations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of consulting methodologies, delivery standards, and internal knowledge sharing.

Ideal Candidate Background

Experience

Required

  • 3+ years of experience implementing and administering Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, and related solutions.
  • 3+ years leading software implementation projects through the full delivery lifecycle.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and facilitating process discovery.
  • Experience working directly with clients in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and enterprise software implementations.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with technical and executive audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and client priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain at least two Atlassian Certified Professional certifications and additional Atlassian accreditations.

Preferred

  • Experience designing enterprise-scale Atlassian solutions.
  • Experience integrating Atlassian products with third-party platforms.
  • Experience supporting cloud migrations or modernization initiatives.
  • Consulting experience across multiple industries.
  • Experience mentoring technical team members or leading implementation workstreams.

Key Competencies

  • Strategic problem solver who can connect business objectives with scalable technical solutions.
  • Strong consulting mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence client decisions.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills across technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead solution architecture while remaining hands-on throughout implementation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Deep technical knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem and industry best practices.
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring others and sharing knowledge.
  • Adaptable, curious, and committed to continuous learning.

Other Things We Look For

  • Passion for helping clients solve complex business challenges.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to continuously improve delivery and client outcomes.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and thrives with autonomy.
  • Creative thinker who enjoys solving problems and navigating ambiguity.
  • Strong sense of accountability for quality, client satisfaction, and business results.
  • Growth-oriented professional who values feedback, coaching, and continuous development.
  • Interest in contributing to practice growth through thought leadership, knowledge sharing, marketing initiatives, or presales support.
