Xcite Automotive is now seeking an Automotive Painter with Wheel Repair Experience for our partner dealers in Hardeeville, South Carolina!

Job Description: Xcite Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Wheel Repair Technician to perform cosmetic and minor structural repairs on alloy wheels in a high-volume dealership environment. This position focuses on curb rash repair, sanding, filling, priming, painting, and color matching to restore wheels to OEM or dealership standards. This is a hands-on, production-based role requiring proven wheel repair experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair curb rash, gouges, scrapes, and cosmetic rim damage on alloy wheels
  • Perform sanding, grinding, filling, priming, and refinishing
  • Mix and apply paint for accurate wheel color matching (silver, black, graphite, machined finishes)
  • Operate wheel repair tools, grinders, sanders, spray equipment, and curing lamps
  • Inspect completed repairs to ensure OEM / dealership quality standards
    Meet daily production goals and turnaround times
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and PPE procedures

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of hands-on automotive wheel repair experience
  • Direct experience repairing alloy wheels and rim damage
  • Proficient in sanding, filling, priming, and painting wheels
  • Ability to color match wheel finishes accurately
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
