These qualifications are critical to ensuring vehicles meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards before reaching customers.
As an Automotive Validation Engineer, your days often involve designing and executing test plans, analyzing data from vehicle or component tests, and identifying areas for improvement. You’ll collaborate closely with design, development, and quality assurance teams to validate system performance and resolve any issues. Documentation of test results and preparing reports for stakeholders are also key parts of the job. The role is dynamic and may require hands-on work in labs or on test tracks, as well as regular meetings to coordinate validation activities.
An Automotive Validation Engineer ensures that vehicle components and systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. As a validation engineer, you play a vital role in assuring the quality and performance of TI's innovative IC products.
In this role, you'll support the development and implementation of strategies that achieve profitability targets on assigned TI product lines through new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for all operational aspects related to your assigned product portfolio, resolve customer quality and application issues, and facilitates cross-functional teams for problem solving. You'll also take a leadership role to establish relationships with key contacts in TI wafer fabrication and assembly manufacturing sites to ensure strong communication and effective problem solving.
